Overview

Supervise warehouse and road feeder vendors to maintain service levels for the Polar cargo network.  Supervise the remote handling facility to accept cargo, build cargo according to capacity management instructions, send cargo to the ramp operation according to priority, maintain all information in CargoSpot, transmit reporting on cargo status, and interact with customers as required.  Handle all FAA, TSA, US Customs, and other regulations associated with cargo buildup, chain of custody, cargo inspections, manifesting, and in-bond processing.  Support the flight operation at CVG and assist by representing flights airside.

Responsibilities
  • Identifies and rectifies immediate problems.
  • Responsible for maintaining, supporting and improving the overall station operation to support all business units of the company.
  • Responsible for station compliance of all safety regulations and requirements pertaining to the station, Warehouse, aircraft, facilities, equipment and personnel.
  • Responsible for achieving all ground operations and corporate goals as related to performance, safety, service, and regulatory compliance. Ensures all employees and vendors are aware of station and corporate goals and expectations
  • Monitors weight billed to actual weight, completes CCA’s and notifies appropriate company contracts.
  • Identifies loss of pallet/nets/straps, researches reasons and notifies management and/or corporate of losses and/or reasons.
  • Monitors accuracy and completeness of pallets/nets/straps control of information and ensures inaccurate information is updated and any underlying issues are resolved.
  • Monitors data entry accuracy and completeness, corrects inaccurate information and ensures any underlying issues are resolved.
  • Ensures the safety of aircraft and crews by preventing aircrafts damage;
    • Ensuring proper loading and weight and balance preparation, including nets and locks.
    • Ensuring HAZMAT is handled correctly, including re-loading and paperwork.
  • Ensures that employees and/contractors adhere to company and governmental safety regulations and procedures.
  • Monitors employees and/or contractors compliance with regulations and procedures pertaining to vehicle safety.
  • Ensures that terminal services perform tasks for aircraft to arrive and depart as scheduled.
  • Ensures company customers receive correct freight at appropriate locations within necessary time frames by making certain that freight and paperwork are handled correctly, including freight check-in and paper.
  • Monitors and evaluates work performance of all company employees assigned to the station.
  • Interfaces with local airport authorities to ensure company compliance with all local policies. Ensures monthly reports are submitted to local airport authorities as required
  • Creates and environment that encourages teamwork by:
    • Establishing and maintain working relationships with handlers, terminal maintenance staff and/or contract personnel
    • Informing management of unique or difficult situations.
  • Completes and/or maintains reports, messages, files logs and forms.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma
  • Six years aviation experience including:
    • Ops Agent experience
    • Weight and Balance experience and ability to become current on PO/5Y system.
    • Dangerous Goods experience and ability to become current on PO/5Y system.
    • Prior experience with a scheduled service operation.
  • Understanding of PAX/Cargo Operations and Airfreight business
  • Ability and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in air cargo industry, with knowledge of logistics planning highly preferable

Overview

Responsible for all aspects to the individual flight planning out of the Americas, including enforcing cut off times, tracking and planning of tendered cargo. Ensures and supervises daily capacity management process of cargo booking and planning process that plans for yield and customer’s priority. Tracks, maintains and communicates, flight allocations, and prepares utilization reports as they pertain to capacity decisions and opportunities.  Manages the Capacity and Cargo Movement Agents (3).

Responsibilities
  • Oversees air cargo load allocation to stations.
  • Supervise, coordinate and communicate any last minute change for all pre-flight arrangements with different stations, including operations and sales team to maximize utilization of cargo load.
  • Ensure that best strategies to attempt to predict and avoid capacity planning gaps are followed.
  • Oversee post-flight and daily reporting.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or a combination of work experience with high school graduation.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar role in air freight movement and yield strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with IATA process and procedures.
  • Revenue management experience.

  • Proficient in MS office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-Starter, self-motivated with strong analytical and interpersonal skills

  • A minimum of two years of sales experience, preferably in air freight/transportation field, with understanding on air cargo industry, pricing, rates and competition.
  • Proficient in MS office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-Starter, self-motivated with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Understand and adheres to company operating policies, as appropriate to sales.
  • Proven track record in sales achievement, or must have the ability to professionally and successfully assert himself/herself in a positive, well-disciplined manner in the achievement of revenue objectives from assigned accounts/customers.
  • Ability to organize and plan sales calls to achieve revenue objectives and have the ability to analyze customer needs/markets and must be able to close customers.

Overview

This position will be responsible for providing business support responsibilities under Partnership program with key customers and General Sales Agents (GSA).  Streamlining business data process to compile station’s production, customer performance, market trend and competitor’s activities in order to optimize results in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities
  • Contract management for all incentive agreements, charter agreements or GSA agreements.
  • Support GSA activities on open bids, station development, daily pricing, and sales & operations.
  • Assist in partnership programs with key customers in RFP, customer presentations, analyze the performance, track commercial highlights of preferred partners, and assist in proposing the incentive calculations.
  • Prepare presentation and participate in business review with preferred partners.
  • Support timely and accurate reporting to senior management and sales team with business implications.
  • Integrate and consolidate information sources from various internal departments and external market database.
  • Assist in marketing related projects, business cases and market researches.
Qualifications
  • Degree holder or equivalent education above is required.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in aviation industry is preferred.
  • Possess high proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel including pivot table.
  • Demonstrate good organizational and analytical skills in reporting and analysis.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
  • Mature, independent and result-oriented. A good team player.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin is preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to work under time pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Overview

Execute Polar Air Cargo’s global capacity management process. Ensure daily global capacity management process of cargo booking and planning process that plans for yield, and customer’s priority.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in air cargo load allocation to each station by constructing allocation table for different routes
  • Serve as a liaison between concerned internal and external parties to ensure all aircraft load under correct priority.
  • Coordinate, communicate and response to any last minute change for all pre-flight arrangements with different stations, including operations and sales team, to maximize utilization of cargo load
  • Generate post flight reports and daily reports for billing and management analysis
  • Map out transit plans for all cargos to ensure all air way bill arrive at correct destination
  • Monitor all network/schedule related activities on tactical and strategic basis.
  • Verify US Sales/Reservation team CBA and priority list.
  • Assist US customers service center for RFS arrangement.
  • Night shift and weekend duties are required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree of any discipline or equivalent work experience in cargo industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in air cargo industry or warehouse related functions preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, precise communication with all parties to make sure messages are aligned
  • Independently motivated, result oriented with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate ability to work under time pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • High proficiency in MS office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English
