Overview

 Provides dedicated and focused surveillance at domestic line maintenance operations hubs (i.e. CVG, ANC, LAX, etc.), including A’ letter checks. This surveillance will include the Contract Maintenance Provider’s facilities, training, tooling, parts storage, ramp operations, adherence to technical data, and adherence to all GMM requirements. Ensures the vendor’s quality of work performed and for the continued adherence to the Company's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Based on the experience level of the Auditor, they will be required to accomplish any or all of the following job duties. Findings will be recorded and conveyed for corrective action and follow-up as required.

Audits:

  • Monitors special process inspections, such as RII, NDT, Engine Borescope, and AOG
  • Ensure CFR requirements and Company policies are complied with by monitoring/auditing maintenance actions: with Airworthiness Directives, DDG MEL Items, ETOPS, Weight & Balance, Service Bulletins, Engineering Documents, Engineering Orders, Fleet Campaign Directives, Major Repairs &
  • Participate with the development and training of new hire auditors.
  • Auditors shall maintain records of audits and findings to document
  • Review corrective actions of audit discrepancies to assure the root-cause is identified and that satisfactory corrective action and preventative actions are effective and accomplished in a timely
  • Accomplish SRC airworthiness investigations as assigned and audits the results of
  • Monitor and observe the Receiving Inspection process at stations, to ensure proper documentation for all purchased, repaired or borrowed parts, in accordance with Company policies, procedures, the CFR’s and the GMM.
  • Ensures Contract Maintenance Providers, who perform work on aircraft, are in compliance with applicable
  • Enforces safety regulations and practices and reviews procedures to ensure a safe, reliable
  • Informs the Manager of Quality of any practices, procedures, and/or items considered to be of a serious nature that affect the airworthiness of aircraft, components, accessories, engines, and appliances
  • Able to accomplish Company internal audits, follow-up audits, CASS Action Items, and special investigations as assigned by the Senior Manager of
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of Quality, including, but not limited to, any job function listed under QA
  • Enforces safety regulations and practices and reviews procedures to ensure a safe, reliable operation.
  • Informs the Manager of Quality of any practices, procedures, and/or items considered to be of a serious nature that affect the airworthiness of aircraft, components, accessories, engines, and appliances operated. 

Organizational Relationship:

  • Coordinates activities with: Technical Operations Departments.
  • Able to accomplish Company internal audits, follow-up audits, CASS Action Items, and special investigations. assigned by the Manager of Quality.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Quality, including, but not limited to, any job function listed under QA Auditor.
Qualifications
  • Four year college degree with an emphasis in Business or Aviation or relevant equivalent years’ experience or an A&P
  • 3-5yrs extensive Boeing wide-body maintenance, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and/or CASS experience
  • Mechanic’s Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings preferred
  • Must demonstrate solid writing and communication skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Access, and
  • Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge.
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Domestic and international travel is required up to two weeks per month depending on flight schedule.

Overview

Assist CVG Manager and Ground Ops Management to oversee our Warehouse and Road Feeder Vendors to maintain Service Levels and proper documentation for the Polar Cargo Network. Assist with Supervising the Remote Handling Facilities to accept, build, and correctly enter information into Our TryPod / CargoSpot System. Assist CVG Management with Customers complaints, questions, and acceptance of Special Cargo.  Confirming that all FAA, TSA, US Customs, and other regulations associated with cargo buildup, chain of custody, cargo inspections, manifesting, and in-bond processing are documented and filed appropriately. Assist CVG Management to ensure all U.S. Customs and USDA holds are captured and processed accordingly per U.S. Customs regulations. Support the flight operation at CVG and assist by verifying all documents are received to and from flight operations.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining, supporting and improving the overall station operation to support all business units of the company.
  • Identifies and rectifies immediate problems.
  • Working with U.S. Customs to submit and obtain Customs Approval to move Shipments needing Customs Stamp of Approval. These include Carnets, Titles, Vehicles, Certified Manifest for shipments that have departed on flights. Keeping customer informed of progress on these shipments to ensure a smooth flow of shipment to final destination.
  • Responsible for station compliance of all safety regulations and requirements pertaining to the station, Warehouse, aircraft, facilities, equipment and personnel.
  • Responsible for achieving all ground operations and corporate goals as related to performance, safety, service, and regulatory compliance. Ensures all employees and vendors are aware of station and corporate goals and expectations
  • Monitors CCA’S submitted due to weight billed and actual weight and notify our Customer Service.
  • Group for new paperwork also making sure proper documents move with shipment.
  • Assist Ground Ops and our Vendors to trace and track lost shipments, missing pcs, and or paperwork.
  • Monitors data entry accuracy and completeness, corrects inaccurate information and ensures any underlying issues are resolved.
  • Assist CVG Management with entering reports for ACS Billing to collect money due for the ACS product. Closing out Flights in our Atlas Flight Close out tool.
  • Ensuring HAZMAT is handled and documented correctly, including re-checking Hazmat Shipments placed on hold at our Polar CVG Warehouse or our outline Satellite Stations.
  • Ensures that employees and/contractors adhere to company and governmental safety regulations and procedures.
  • Monitors employees and/or contractors compliance with regulations and procedures pertaining to vehicle safety.
  • Establishing and maintain working relationships with handlers and contracted personnel.
  • Working with CVG Manager on Cargo Spot Accounts, Sox Narrative, Making sure all information is current and up to date.
  • Informing Management of unique or difficult situations.
  • Completes and/or maintains reports, messages, files logs and forms.
  • Assisting CVG Office Manager to order supplies, keeping track of what is being spent.

Qualifications

Overview

Responsible for all PACW station operations in Midwest (CVG, ORD, ATL) to ensure a safe, efficient and reliable operation for all non-technical operational issues. Must place a large emphasis on service delivery and customer satisfaction levels. Also responsible to oversee and manage our Midwest teams, vendor partners, facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures all station/Company goals are met, including on-time, safety, and budget goals.
  • Arranges/negotiates contracts for ground handling and related services.
  • Determines and ensures adequate station coverage and staffing.
  • Actively participates in weekly and daily station conference calls.
  • Implements/develops procedures to improve vendor performance. Partners with Director Ground Operations Standards and Training to review station ratings from audits performed by Team.
  • Analyze available data in new ways that do not already exist to enhance delivery quality while closely controlling budget costs and sharing findings for discussion with Senior Director Ground Operations.
  • Investigates and approves all ground handling invoices to ensure proper coding.
  • Demonstrates a high level of focus on process improvement in current work environment while creating a team culture of continuous improvement and working across departments.
  • Grow and develop employees with a high level of regular communication, review staff performance regularly.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience in freighter cargo operations.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role of a significant operations function in the transportation, logistics, or air cargo sectors, with the latter five years in a senior managerial position.
  • Strong grasp of the overall logistics/supply chain and a solid understanding of what constitutes world class operations within this sector.
  • Experience in the review, (re)design, and restructuring of operations within a major organization with proven and realized benefits through improved customer service, product delivery, and operational reliability as well as reduced costs.
  • High focus and continued commitment to safety with no compromise along with compliance of all regulatory and operating procedures and regulations.
  • Strong record of accomplishment of performance and results, with demonstrated impact in prior roles. Recognized by his/her organization as a top achiever and/or accomplished executive.
  • Experience managing a large warehouse 200K+ sq ft and a workforce over 150+ employees.
  • Experience within the international business scene, with prior exposure to working across cultures in a productive and professional manner. This is particularly relevant in the context of the Company’s significant international business presence.
  • Must possess the skills to lead in a collaborative manner. Experience using a team based approached to problem solving.
  • Experience with process improvement using six sigma or other related approaches to improve business processes and procedures.
  • Experience dealing with other airline partners.

Overview

The Customer Resolution Agent (CRA) is responsible for the efficiency in the overall cargo management warehouse processes to minimize operational hindrances for both import and export cargo.  They work interdepartmental to act as the liaison between Ground Operations, the warehouse, Sales and Customer Service.  The CRA works on ground in warehouse to manage cargo backlog, warehouse on-hand inventory, track and tracing, and acts as a cargo acceptance facilitator. 

Responsibilities
  • Bridge between Ground Operations and Sales and Customer Service by physically present in the warehouse to maintain, support and improve the overall warehouse processes
  • Identify, rectify and follow up on immediate problems by efficient communications with Customer Service, Sales, Ground Operations and any external parties in real time for any discrepancy or abnormalities that can impact a customer
  • Facilitate Ground Operations Acceptance process, freight allocation and pallet build-up to ensure any necessary paperwork or issues are resolved quickly and effectively
  • Ensure all IRR, Discrepancies and OS&D’s are properly actioned in the appropriate system(s) and documented where required
  • When possible, avert and/or diffuse potential problems with irregular cargo
  • Daily monitor and preparation of backlog, on-hand and tracing management reports across multiple warehouses and systems
  • Keep the team informed of any changes and ensure any displaced shipments are rescheduled
  • Work with operations to keep track and monitor movement of on hand shipments and differed cargo
  • Work with Sales team to help prioritize and keep high visibility/revenue shipments on schedule
  • Generate weekly report for all flight results from previous week with detailed information regarding any IRR
  • Maintain a log with detailed information of all operational issues
  • Complete and/or maintains reports, messages, files logs and forms
  • Shift work covering weekends and midnights are required, subject to flight schedule
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school or above academic qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of airline customer service or cargo-related experience, with understanding on air cargo industry and competition, and aircraft cargo loading capacities would be highly preferable
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Demonstrate proficiency with IATA process and procedures
  • Understands and use company reports utilized by customer service, and adaptive to new innovative projects and platforms
  • Good interpersonal, communication and telephone skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks on hand
  • Good problem solving skills and decision-making skills
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Must be reliable, flexible and available to work varied hours, weekends and holidays

Overview

This position is responsible for data intelligence and daily operations of network planning activities. For data analysis, the incumbent will gather and maintain a wide array of data and ensure accuracy, define and analyze metrics and design reports that helps in critical business decisions which is then communicated with management. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage airport slots of restricted airports to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Initiate communication between internal departments and customers to ensure flight schedules are optimally planned and executed.
  • Propose contingency procedures for discrepancies within the flight network in order to maintain minimum impact to customers from schedule disruptions.

  • Draft and implement upon approvals on code sharing and interline arrangements by setting up contract that safeguard the interests of the airline and customers, and communicate clearly and effectively across departments for smooth implementation.
  • Initiate communication between internal departments and customers to ensure flight schedules are optimally planned and executed by preparing and hosting the Express Operations call and Delay Review call with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain data layouts such as tables, charts and graphs and ensure high data quality through regular quality checks.
  • Prepare concise and clear weekly, monthly, quarterly & ad-hoc reports along with slide presentation for management review and make fact based decisions.
  • Provide reporting on schedule and multi-regional performance with high data integrity as requested.
  • Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities and communicate ideas and viewpoints to Senior Manager Network Planning and Alliances.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

  • Partner with Road Feeder Service (RFS) team on invoice reconciliation. Review refuted invoices in Descartes, and work with carriers, local station management, and RFS personnel to reconcile differences between invoice rates and contract rate.
  • Work with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are updated accordingly for proper payment amount and entered correctly.
  • Review weekly report from a trucking vendor for discrepancies and update Descartes accordingly for chargeable weight, accessorial charges, etc.

  • Complete reports as required. This includes verifications of airway bills and customs authorizations to ensure that we are in compliance with government regulations.
