This position is responsible for achieving all Ground Operation goals as they relate to performance, safety, service and regulatory compliance. Supervision of the Loadmaster group to ensure cost effective utilization, appropriate performance and conduct. To provide internal and external customers with assistance and guidance on the acceptability of Special Cargo for carriage on company aircraft. Advise of any required cargo buildup, shoring and/or special equipment required to facilitate that carriage. Communication with affected locations to ensure efficient movement. Ensure all Loadmasters are current on all their training requirements.

Candidate should be experienced in the movement of Special Cargo and have the ability to complete associated Tie down worksheets and forms.
10 years of Loadmaster experience is desired for this position.

Inspect, modify and repair aircraft at the maintenance base. Troubleshoots technical discrepancies and executes repairs of company aircraft. Leads and guides mechanics on advanced tasks. Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment, voltage/amperage measuring, recording devices and navigation of troubleshooting equipment. Coordinates materials and tooling requirements for projected work. Schedules manpower to cover aircraft maintenance and inspections.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot technical discrepancies and execute repair of company aircraft
Accomplish aircraft inspections per company procedures
Proficient in use of electronic test equipment, voltage or amperage measuring, recording devices and navigation troubleshooting equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical orders
Inspect and assist in maintenance of company equipment and tooling
Work as a member of a team that will interface with contract maintenance personnel
Follow safety measures, good shop practices and cleanliness standards
Communicate discrepancies to Maintenance Control department found during inspections and follow directions to troubleshoot and repair faulty conditions
Ensure that all aircraft documentation is completed accurately per company and FAA procedures prior to aircraft departure
Leads and guides mechanics on advanced tasks
Organize daily tasks and coordinate inspections/repair of aircraft
Coordinate materials and tooling requirements for projected work for entire shift
Act as shift manager as required
Schedule manpower to cover aircraft maintenance and inspections
Perform Manual and Aircraft parts inventories as required
Assist other company departments to ensure on-time departure of company aircraft

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
Experienced transport category aircraft maintenance experience
Formal training on advanced systems/avionics
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft software and in use of digital manuals
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Must be able to work in variable weather conditions
Able to work rotating schedules to include weekends, nights and holidays
Must possess valid passport or State issued driver’s license and may travel occasionally for AOG recovery and special projects when requested
Salary Range: $88,500- $119,000
Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
