This position will serve as a business analyst supporting various financial and operational initiatives within Crew Planning as they pertain to both cabin and flight deck crews. It will involve in-depth studies of flight crew productivity, utilization, reliability and costs for both current and future operations. This position will also assist marketing with pricing for potential new customer opportunities as well as coordination of customer invoicing for additional crew costs.
Responsibilities
Conduct various studies with regard to flight crew utilization resulting in improved cost and reliability performance. Support operational and financial efficiency projects for Crew Planning and Flight Operations
Evaluate and enhance crew staffing models to ensure appropriate crew staffing levels are maintained based on the business needs. Develop and support flight crew workforce strategies and ad-hoc studies by conducting data based analyses
Analyze flight and crew scheduling data to create statistical modeling for reserve staffing based on historical absences and operational disruption.
Analyze utilization levels at a customer and/or seasonal level to enhance the crew staffing model. Analyze crew basing data to ensure optimal staffing levels at each base.
Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators in an effort to identify opportunities for improvement
Provide analytical support for collective bargaining and other flight crew related matters
Utilize several and varied software systems, including but not limited to: Airline Information Management System (AIMS), AD OPT (Crew Planning optimization software), and other data management tools such as Microsoft Access and SQL to carry out day to day functions. Serves in a business consultant capacity for crew planning by translating data into quantifiable information
Builds and fosters relationships with internal and external customers as a representative of Crew Planning.
Respond to requests for data analysis studies from senior leadership and key stakeholders. Prepare presentations for senior leadership with analysis, findings and recommendations for review or

Qualifications
Qualifications:

The Lead Passenger Service Representative (LPSR) travels to off-line stations and performs and/or supervises contract personnel’s performance of duties relating to passenger handling, servicing of aircraft, catering, and operational integrity. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of line maintenance on his/ her assigned aircraft. The Manager, 747/767 Flight Maintenance is responsible for tracking, correcting, and providing accurate status information on all technical discrepancies on the aircraft. Leads the effort in maintaining his/ her aircraft in a safe, airworthy and compliant condition.
Responsibilities
Supervises Technical Representative(s), and/or Line Maintenance Supervisor(s) as assigned.
Coordinates personnel schedules to provide adequate manpower coverage as needed to support of aircraft maintenance operations.
Ensures the safe and efficient maintenance of company aircraft within their station / geographic area, in accordance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for managing, coordinating and providing oversight for contract line maintenance in their station / geographic area as assigned.
Ensures personnel under his/ her supervision are trained and qualified in accordance with GMM policies and procedures.
Monitors the training, qualifications and level of proficiency for maintenance personnel at assigned station(s) / geographic area.
Monitors Flight Schedules and fleet status to ensure best use of resources, ground time and aircraft routing.
Coordinates line maintenance requirements with MCC, Workload Planning, Materials, Quality Control, and A/C Planning Departments.
Maintains surveillance of line maintenance activity at assigned station(s) / geographic area.
Provides resources and technical support as necessary in cases of major mechanical problems or AOG situations.
Improve efficiency and reliability by identifying recurring problems and recommending changes in procedures.
Responsible for coordinating the timely repair of deferred maintenance items on aircraft transiting assigned station(s) and/or geographic area.
Ensures shift turnover and work interruption procedures are followed to ensure incomplete maintenance work is completed before an aircraft is returned to service.
Responsible for ensuring timely return of correct and accurate aircraft maintenance log pages to MCC.
Coordinates with MCC for maintenance and aircraft status information.
Monitors mechanical problems, Aircraft and Powerplant performance. Repeat Item and Oil Watch Programs.
Formulates corrective action plans for mechanical problems and deferred maintenance items in coordination with MCC.
Maintains communication with Regional Manager to ensure cost effective application.
Maintains liaison with Ground Operations and Flight Operations to ensure safe and dependable operations.
Enforces safety procedures and practices outlined in company manuals and industry standards.
Performs duties and responsibilities at field locations away from home base as assigned.
Flies on company aircraft as assigned to support aircraft operations around the world.
Performs self-audits of station(s) / geographic area as needed.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
10 years of aircraft maintenance experience is required.
Must hold a current and valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
Must maintain Atlas Air qualifications and authorizations for Airworthiness Release and ETOPS.
Experience on 747/767 aircraft or equivalent wide-body aircraft preferred.
Previous supervisory experience.
Special Demand:
Extensive travel both domestically and internationally will be required. Valid passport is a requirement.
Ability to work variable hours including holiday and weekends on a 20 days on / 10 days off rotation

Responsible for the safe handling and processing of catering commissary & equipment as required by company, regulatory requirements and best practices. Receiving, shipping, inventorying, binning and cycle counts. General housekeeping, cleaning organizing and upkeep of the warehouse facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities
Receiving, binning, shipping and issuing of supplies & equipment
Preplan commissary and catering supplies based on aircraft rotations
Conduct inventory checks at catering vendor and on aircraft
Verify accurate and operable catering equipment is on each flight
Ensure proper inventory is prepared and delivered to downline caterers
Communicate any inventory or planning deficiencies, tracking and monitoring performance
Identify and requisition needed catering equipment repairs
Create Repair Orders for unserviceable parts as directed by Repairs Department and or supervisor
Responsible to execute monthly and weekly tasks as assigned such as Calibration & Shelf-Life review, Cycle/Inventory counts.
Utilize computer system to maintain and update inventory in a timely manner
Monitors shipping and station supplies; advises Supervisor of shortages and requirements
Coordinate with HDQ Catering department for assisting the operations
Maintain & Coordinate with all the downline stations inventory
Daily warehouse housekeeping, cleaning, sweeping, organizing of parts supplies and equipment
Operate forklifts to move materials in the warehouses
Audit outbound meals to ensure departures’ catering matches approved orders
Audit inbound meals to analyze meal and beverage leftovers
Keep management informed of any operational issues that may affect/impact operational performance
Ensure customers, vendors and employees adhere to current operating requirements and focus items affecting ground operations
Monitor ramp activities and performance to deliver safe and timely aircraft catering/commissary handling

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in inventory, warehousing, distribution, or related functions required
2 years or more of Forklift experience preferred
Previous airline experience preferred
Previous cycle counting and inventory reconciling experience preferred
Attend/pass required trainings for recurrent, refreshment or (re)certification revalidation trainings
Acquire all identification badges required for the position, control the expiration and renewal
Must have strong familiarity with MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Reporting to the Manager of Quality Control & Aircraft Records, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance performed on Company aircraft, engines, appliances and accessories is accomplished in accordance with Southern Air policies and the Federal Aviation Regulations to maintain a continuous state of airworthiness. Inspectors must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics License and be authorized by the Chief Inspector.
Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance of aircraft to ensure that all required inspection items are satisfactorily inspected and that all procedures, standards, and limits comply with FAA regulations and Company policies
Complete aircraft inspections, in accordance with maintenance program specifications, procedures and criteria to ensure they are maintained in an airworthy condition
Perform re-inspections (Buy-Back) of corrected discrepancies
Perform required inspections on "RII" items
Assist in review of aircraft maintenance records
Recommend changes or additions to maintenance procedures. As required review and update company manuals including, but not limited to: General Maintenance Manual (GMM), RVSM, ETOPS, LLM and aircraft servicing manuals
Perform receiving inspections of newly purchased, repaired, overhauled parts or continued service components and hardware to ensure proper documentation from approved vendors, absence of shipping damage, proper packaging, protection, and airworthiness certification
Monitor and inspect maintenance performed on Company aircraft by outside operators. Verify the quality of work, review flight log for statement of work accomplished and authorize maintenance releases as necessary
During Heavy Check, audit all routine, non-routine and engineering documentation to ensure completeness, and that the mechanics/inspectors are trained and qualified, and all RII items are identified and inspected by RII qualified and authorized inspectors
During Heavy Check, monitor maintenance being performed on the aircraft to ensure that Company processes and procedures are adhered to, including coordination with the MRO supervision to ensure mechanics performing the maintenance understand the technical data and carry out the instructions accordingly
Review completed production control work packages for completeness and proper signoff, prior to execution of an airworthiness release or issuance of a serviceable tag
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent educational experience
Current, active, and valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of aircraft maintenance experience, of which three (3) years must be in an inspection department or held RII authorization
Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations, aircraft manufacture specifications and manuals
5 years of aircraft maintenance experience on Boeing series aircraft
Special Demands:
Able to work rotating schedules to include weekends, nights and holidays
Valid Driver License and US Passport
Able to travel internationally for periods of 30 days per occasion
