Overview

 The Product Director is customer-obsessed  and leads the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a mission-critical product ecosystem at Atlas Air. This role goes far beyond backlog management—it requires a sharp strategic thinker with the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver impactful business outcomes. The product director is effectively the “voice of the customer/end-user in the product.” They effectively integrate, motivate and build relationships with and between team members, key stakeholders, customers, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with the end-to-end product life cycle.

Major Job Accountabilities:

  • Define and continuously evolve product strategy and vision aligned with Atlas Air’s strategic priorities, focusing on both short- and long-term outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of product management experience with 3+ years with full accountability of a complex enterprise-level program, portfolio or product
  • Proven success in strategic product management roles, with a focus on driving business outcomes and impact, rather than just managing deliverables.
  • Proven track record of defining and executing product strategies
  • Experience leading product strategy in high-growth, ambiguous, or consultative environments (e.g., technology, strategy consulting, or transformation roles).
  • Demonstrated ability to define product vision, strategy, and outcomes, not just deliverables.
  • Strong track record of working with senior leaders and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a collaborative, consultative manner.
  • Experience with customer discovery techniques, agile product delivery, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with modern SDLC practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native systems, is a plus.

Overview

The Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for the implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency. Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including WAN, BGP, routing, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices and scripting/programming languages, such as Ruby, Python, Perl, and PowerShell.

Overview

Overview

The FinOps professional will utilize a strong working knowledge of the FinOps Framework lifecycle to drive financial accountability, cost optimization, automation, and operational efficiency across out cloud and IT spending.  This role drives the cross-functional collaboration required to bridge finance, engineering, and operations to ensure cloud resources are used efficiently, costs are forecasted accurately, and investments align with our business goals.

Responsibilities

Cloud Financial Management:

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on cloud usage and costs across AWS and some secondary cloud providers.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into cloud spend and trends.
  • Partner with finance teams to improve budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

 

Optimization and Efficiency:

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, and usage optimization.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to align architecture decisions with financial efficiency.
  • Develop policies and guardrails for cost governance.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

Process and Governance:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in cloud financial management, cloud operations, and IT Finance, including tools for cost exploring, policy as code agents, savings plan optimization, reserved instances, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and technical data.
  • Proven ability to automate reporting and cost optimization workflows using APIs and scripting languages.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and financial stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of FinOps principles (FinOps Foundation certification a plus).
  • An ability and desire to practice continuous learning to stay current with cloud pricing and FinOps best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud cost optimization tools (CloudHealth, Apptio, Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer, etc.).
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, SQL, or similar).
  • Prior experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or business operations.

 

Salary Range: $84,500 - $114,000

Overview

Administer the maintenance of supplier records and establishes contractual relationships with suppliers who provide the greatest value to Atlas Air. Responsibilities
  • Process supplier maintenance records following established processes, procedures, and policies in JD Edwards
  • Perform supplier screening for Foreign Corrupt Practice (FCPA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) using a 3rd party system, TCompliance (TRACE)
  • Provide banking validation on bank change requests for existing suppliers
  • Review submissions for data accuracy and work with requestors/suppliers to ensure data content is correct
  • Act as system administrator for supplier management portal
  • Engage suppliers to adopt usage of the supplier management portal
  • Provide the internal customers with guidance and training on the supplier management portal
  • Perform supplier screening activities
  • Assist with external and internal audit inquiries and perform SOX reconciliation reports
  • Analyze business requirements and source cost effective solutions for assigned spend categories
  • Conduct sourcing events by developing statements of work, create requests for proposals (RFP)’s, and manage the supplier proposal process
  • Negotiate, draft, and administer contracts for assigned spend categories

  • Produce monthly spend category savings, project status, contract management, and SOX reports
  • Manage suppliers by conducting analyzing data, conducting business review meetings, and tracking key performance indicators (KPI’s) to ensure compliance with stated contract service levels
  • Other related work as assigned by the Sr. Director Procurement
Qualifications
  • 4-Year Degree required in a business related field
  • 1-year experience in a Purchasing role or similar business accounting/finance environment
  • Purchase to Pay (P2P) system experience preferred

 

Skills:

  • Must have strong analytical skills, as well as a superior understanding of MS Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Overview

The Director of Procurement for Technical Operations is responsible for leading sourcing and supplier management activities across technical and maintenance-related categories . This includes aircraft components, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services,  and other related technical services.

This role partners closely with Line Maintenance, Scheduled Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure cost-effective, reliable, and compliant supply of critical goods and services that keep the fleet airworthy and operational. The Director will develop category strategies, lead negotiations with suppliers and service providers, and ensure suppliers meet the highest standards for safety, quality, and performance.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for aircraft materials, components, MRO services, and technical operations support.
  • Develop supplier risk assessments and selection criteria for all sourcing activities.
  • Partner with Technical Operations leadership group to forecast needs, manage lifecycle costs, and support fleet reliability objectives.
  • Develop category-specific commercial and risk mitigation strategies that ensure operational continuity and delivers value-added solutions.
  • Integrate sustainability, ESG, and cost optimization goals into procurement strategy and supplier selection.

Procurement Execution

  • Lead complex negotiations with Technical Operations suppliers to secure best-in-class commercial terms and service levels.
  • Oversee sourcing and contracting for line and base maintenance and component repairs.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with FAA/EASA and internal quality standards, including safety, documentation, and traceability requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and negotiate supplier performance concepts in agreement, including KPIs, SLAs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers, and analysts.
  • Develop and maintain positive engagements with suppliers during sourcing activities and though supplier lifecycle, in partnership with Supplier Management and business stakeholders,
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Scheduled Maintenance, Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal.
  • Present sourcing strategies, cost savings, and supplier briefings to senior leadership.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the procurement organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience within the aviation or aerospace industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of MRO operations, aircraft systems, and technical procurement processes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and long-term agreements with OEMs and service providers.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, IATA) and aviation quality standards.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.
  • Experience with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP or Ariba).

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with airline, MRO, or OEM procurement operations.
  • Knowledge of component repair programs, and PBH (Power-By-the-Hour) contracts. Familiarity with digital procurement tools and supplier analytics dashboards.

 

 

Salary Range: $117,500 -$158,500

Overview

 The BOA is focused on supporting delivery in their squad or project by clarifying requirements, removing obstacles and facilitating workflow and helps ensure the promised outcomes are delivered. They are a blend of business analyst, scrum master, project manager, document writer and cat herder. They are not just an old school business analyst that simply acts as a middleman creating large requirements documents. They are also not purely a hands-off scrum master that only facilitates decisions but has no skin in the game. Likewise, they are not just a single dimensioned project manager focused only on go-live and not value delivery afterwards.  They are pragmatic leaders that understand the business strategy and our strategic intent and help ensure the squad is able to deliver the maximum business value possible. They are great communicators and work as bridges between the product owner, project managers, stakeholders and the squad. They facilitate the squad planning and retrospectives to ensure the squad is delivering reliably and is constantly improving. The squad does not report to them, and they must be the champions of building a self-managing team and not creating a single point of failure in themselves.

 

 

Responsibilities
  • Work with product owner and squad/project to groom and prepare the backlog into stories ready to be worked on
  • Facilitate squad/project planning
  • Ensure squad/project follows the Atlas system of work
  • Works closely with the portfolio team to support planning and updates
  • Facilitates communication between all key squad stakeholders
  • Facilitates and champions squad/project delivery rituals (e.g. scrum ceremonies etc)
  • Champions a self-managing team culture
  • Facilitates workshops for clarifying problems, identifying solutions and driving aligned decision making
  • Ensures decisions and key milestones are well documented
  • Ensures squad/project artifacts are effective and well organized
  • Documents process maps and value streams
  • Able to research topics and produce white papers or decision papers to support decisions
  • Supports squad in developing and maintaining suitable delivery metrics
  • Support Application Development Chapter Lead in implementing an engineering culture
  • Support Portfolio Senior Director in implementing an adaptive human centric system of work
  • Coordinate activities of junior BOAs
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, scrum master or product manager
  • 1+ years’ experience in an agile delivery culture
  • Experience with ERPs or Enterprise Platforms as a product is a plus
  • Experience delivering applications within an automated CI/CD SDLC is a plus
  • Airline or logistics experience an advantage but not essential

Special demands:

Salary Range: $83,000 - $113,000
